The shock tower cover/cap was chewed off, a layer of safflower bird seed applied and covered with some chewed nylon rope fluff and that in turn covered with the bonnet insulation.
Found this out when I went to check the antifreeze for the winter arctic jaunt.
I used to let the cat wander into the garage but he just liked to whizz on car tires, both on the car and ones in storage. In fact that was his only interest in visiting the garage.
I think I'll throw a couple of mothballs under there when the new Insulation and cap arrives.
