How difficult a job is it to replace the standard knob with the JCW Carbon Fiber one? Is it just "pull up with all your might" and that's it; or is there more to it?

The JCW shifter is listed at $400 retail from USA dealers; or $320 from those that regularily provide a discount. Is the cost similar in the UK?
