This is one reason I have ordered the space saver spare for my Cooper.
If you need a new tyre, I would like the option of ordering one on line and be able to wait a few days. Black Circles have a few 16" ones fitted for about £100, seems cheaper than general prices.
Also, if I opt for going non-runflat I'll have a spare tyre ready and waiting.
Your idea of having a spare standing by is a good one. To save money, you could just keep a tyre. If you need it just drive on your runflat to a tyre fitter who may well swap it over "for cash" |
