For resale, i.e best percentage return, I would say that getting as few options as possible is the way to go.

From your list I would say HiFI system, sports seats, sports button (a normal Cooper is sharp enough

), rear spoiler and sports suspension (especially this) are NOT essential.

Paul is right about picking a trim option. Standard looks poor, get something like fluid silver.

What is your budget?
