| I just got a TomTom One Europe for my Fiancee for a Valentines/Birthday present. TBH I would not go for any make other than TomTom. I've used TomTom 5 and 6 on my XDA II and both were great. I've yet to hear a bad word against TomTom really apart from minor niggles.
A work collegue and I recently had the displeasure of going round and round in circles in Leeds under the direction of co pilot on the XDA Orbit. He has since been on other journeys where it does the same thing. He is now going to stick TomTom on it as this works a lot better.
My Fiancee's Dad also has a Road Angel 6000 and, although the directions are great, after a few weeks the standby button broke so it can only be turned on and off and when charging the unit now has to be on, if it's off it wont charge so the charging takes a much longer time and leaves the screen blazing away. It was acceptable in the 80's |
