Convertibles have always sold far better in Northern Europe [than Southern Europe], I think it's because we like to make more of the sun when we get some!
Plus I think this is the first wet winter in Southern UK for about few years! Theres areas round here that have had less rainfall than Lisbon or Rome.
Having said that I might take the car out right now - it must be at least 11 degrees and I can hopefully dodge a shower or two!
