| The car in question had a small white gauge underneath the centre console switches and postioned to the drivers side. This either read boost or supercharger, i'm sure supercharger and was in a clock layout with a single hand idle at the 7oclock postion and numbered arround to 5 o clock.
This then lead me to left up the bonnet. Underneath was a very large red pipe (4 to 5 inch dia) to the right hand side of the engine (as you looked at the car). This then lead to a very large cone shapped air filter which wasn't covered.
When the dealer started the car and rev hard it sounded like the car was sucking air.
Sorry didn't get the roof number. Car had done 5700 miles.
Hope this is of help |
