Since we camera talking. Last night when returning from our trip to North Conway I walked to the mailbox and heard from the garage a bang and an, "that wasn't supposed to happen" from Louis. We stopped to take a picture of a sign and he took of his EF 50mm f/1.4 prime lens off. Because it was a roadside stop he didn't put it away and picked up the camera bag that the lens was sitting on. It made a tumble to the garage floor. No UV filter on it. But....seems to be O.K. I like happy endings that don't equal me spending another $300 on glass
