I finally broke down and bought an XTi yesterday with the Canon 18-55 lens, and a Quantaray 70-300 (verdict is still out on this one... I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or return it). I also picked up a UV filter for each, and a polarizer for the Canon lens. Any advice on those who have the XTi (Brian??) on what else I should have in my bag of tricks.

I've been taking shots for most of the day today, and so far, I'm really impressed by what I see compared to the point and shoot I have.
