Quantaray is the Ritz "house brand" item, most of their lenses are typically re-badged Sigmas from the low-end of their range (I'm told that a couple models are low-end Tamrons, but the majority are Sigmas). I've got a couple Tamron teleconverters I've been pleased with, they do a good job and cost a fair bit less than the Canon equivalents...
