| The grommit I used on my Cooper was on the drivers side by where the brake pipes are.
I stuck a straightened out coathanger through from the engine side attached the cable in the footwell with ducktape (it needs to be really well held on) and then pulled it out from the engine side. I then ran it under the trim into the boot.
It was acceptable in the 80's |
