OK so I've spoken to Roland.
The damage is just a finger sized hole in one of the valves. Piston and bores are OK. Phew!
So what am I doing? Well Roland gave me a few options but I have settled on a JCW210 head to replace the standard head. I was actually surprised it was standard as I always thought the Hartge conversion had a modified head. This gives me a bit of an upgrade for not too much outlay. I also have the option of
JCW injectors.
Whilst there it was discovered that the Redstuff pads have worn very quickly and the discs need changing too so a set of GTT spiroslots are going on. It will be interesting to compare the standard pads and discs to these.
After this is done the mapping will be checked.
