Well the Batmobile is back on the road thanks to Roland fitting it in between his turbo conversion
In the end it looks as though the mapping was ok. I will monitor for any pinking in the mean time. Personally I think the spark plugs were the cause so I now have a set of NGK Iridium's in there.
So I've now got a
JCW 210 head,
JCW injectors, GTT Idler Pulley, GTT Shorter Belt and GTT Spiroslot discs and Stage 1 pads.
Roland also secured my Aero Bumper that was only held on by two bolts

I need a new one as the speed bumps have taken their toll on it.
Nearly had a Friday 13th disaster on the way home. Had to do an emergency stop soon after I started home. It was only about my 5th stab of the brakes that were no where near bedded in yet. Unfortunately the rears, that were not replaced, gripped pretty well with the same affect as pulling up the handbrake. The car started to rotate, which luckily I caught and still managed to stop in time. Phew!
So I gave it a good run home and all seems well. Perhaps a little smoother than before I gave it to Roland especially at the top end. Could just be the placebo effect though. Time will tell.
So thanks to Roland once again. Thouroughly recommended.
