My Cooper D did not make it today, April 14, the launch date, despite its build being completed on April 6 and despite the efforts of Mini Westminster/Park Lane to get it to me. Now told that I should be able to collect it on April 19. Seems crazy that it takes Mini 13 days to get the car some 60 miles, but there is apparently a huge backlog in Oxford. Pretty disappointed, given the order was placed minute the books opened. In Mini Park Lane this morning there seemed to be no fanfare for the launch of either the Mini One or Cooper D, which were nowhere to be seen, nor any literature on the Diesel. |
