| Forward or back?
I hand painted some stripes on and old 1963 mini in the seventies. It was a light blue, I got some navy Dulux gloss from my Dad's shed and painted a stripe all the way around. Looking back it wasn't the best thing to do and I stopped short of painting flowers and wotnot on it but I felt like the 'bees knees' at the time, especially after I'd installed a 6' yellow, bendy aerial which came out of the bonnet, curved over, and then was fastened to the back. Not exactly BMW or the way forward but great to go to the beach.  |
