All joking aside, I've been dismayed by the backlash out of some of the Classic Mini folks, and just viewed this as one more manifestation of that.
But in looking at the
website for this group it is apparent that this show is pretty big, and is dedicated to classic British Cars.
I think what they were saying was that their response is huge for the show part of the event and they would not be accepting the new MINI in the show part. It is not just some cruise-in that you can participate in by showing up.
If I was in the area, I would cruise on down to check out all the cars.
