I heard through a reliable source that the German Show Car Team is going to hand polish every 07 automatic transmission case.

believe me if you had to drive to leeds & back every day in mostly nose to tail traffic you'd think differently. if its quick enough it would be a consideration

We've ordered an auto but can't find any details of what it will be like.
Definately no pipe and slippers here though.

There are a few details of the auto on the US configurator:
MINIUSA.com

Says it's an Aisin 6 speed Auto with F1 style paddles. Also says with Agitronic mode. Whatever that is.
