| Deals Gap Junkie | I agree with ya sixblade, however the grape vine says that the U.S. cars got all the LSD allocation and the rest will have to wait a bit longer. [it's about time us yanks get priority!] LOL ![]() |

| Deals Gap Junkie | FWIW sixblade; the R53's suspension was such that if you lowered the car about an inch or more, the roll center was very low and thus created a lot of front end grip, meaning that even with huge power, there was no "one-wheel-peel", even with an open-diff. As long as the R56 is similar, you shouldn't have anything to worry about [after you lower the car of course, lol] Have you called ASKMINI lately to confirm your car has the LSD in the build spec, just to double check? ![]() |

Offline | Another reason why 'open diff' works better with lowering springs (on stock shocks) is if the car is lowered an inch, assuming the car is cornering flat ,there is now an extra inch of 'droop' available on the inside unloaded wheel. This allows it to 'droop' down and make contact with the tarmac & maybe put some power through this wheel too. Without it the strut extends to full lengh 'an inch earlier' and is held off the tarmac fizzing away in mid air. This is also a very good reason (with a stock diff) for NOT fitting a stronger anti roll bar at the front, as you can put power down out of the corners with stock ARB (swaybar) better. Better still use very stiff front springs and remove the ARB all together- At least you can then put down some power through the inner wheel as the wheel is now free to 'droop' without the ARB holding it in the air. Best Regards Roland GTT ![]() |
