Anyone else experience the Shudder when you start/switch off your R56 Cooper?
The car 'shakes' when you switch it on or off,not dramatically but there none the less or is it normal.
Also when you start the car after a long period,overnight or after a few hours,the starter makes a sort of scraping or high pitched whirr noise,anyone else with this?

Ive heard the scraping noise once so far, only had the car 3 days through!

get it back to the dealer before it all goes pete tong for the money there better be no noises except the engine reving

Remember, it is really cold at the moment. Cars can sound strange in the cold.

the car starts with you just tapping the button once, its an automatic ignition, if you continue to hold the button that may happen, trying just pushing the clutch in and tapping the button and see if this cures that.
