Offline | Chipped! Here's the traslation of the message from a well known tuner in italy (Emanuele of Speed Racing and his roman colleague). They have a lot of experience, both in street tuning (Mini, Renault, Honda ad more) and in racing (Ferrari Challenge, WTCC). "It's done...from now on we'll make the 1.6T. We reprogram in boot mode. We connect to the K and CAN wires and put the boot on linking an internal point to mass. By now is the only way to do it. We got to open the ECU but it hasn't any warranty seal. The increase is aroung 35 hp with acceptable boost pressure, to garantee the same reliability of the stock one." It's seems this engine has a lot of potential as we all suspected. Now we still have too see what we get with an exhaust like the milltek, an induction kit like the K&N and the remap ![]() |

Offline | I'm still investigating to discover if they did a pre-map rolling road, but i'm pretty confident that now we can adjust fuel, timings and boost, with a full exhaust and a filter the power will be around if not more 220 cv. |

| Deals Gap Junkie | The R56 already has more torque and power than the R53, where's this question coming from? Based on the turbo in the R56 however, it'll be tough to squeeze much more than 200HP in flow from the turbo, unless its better flowing than previous generations of the same turbo family. ![]() |
