This was in the MINI2 news on 28th February. It's actually 192BHP

http://www.mini2.com/article428-john...-cooper-s.html

It was acceptable in the 80's

I take it £1150 would be parts only, so if you assume it will take 3/4 hours to fit you are looking at a total of around £1500. I think the difference in BHP is down to fact 189BHP refers to old fashioned BHP and the 192BHP is actually PS which is the metric equivalent of BHP.

Still nothing on the mini.co.uk or mini.com websites about this. Is the kit definitely available now?

JCW kit consists of:
- ECU remap
- intake
- exhaust

£1150!

Hmmm doesn't sound like theres much potential for tuning this engine then?
