Offline | Forge BOV adapter MCS 07 It's here! Just reach here a moment ago.haha.. Installation should be very easy. Just a adapter to the existing solenoid with holes to let the gas out, Said to improve performance because it expel the hot air from the recirculation valve instead of turning the hot air back to the intake. Forge Motorsport Will update again after installation! Last edited by MINIAC : Jun 29th, 2007 at 03:21 PM. Reason: Attach images |

Offline | Got mine in/on today. Not 100% sure it will stay. Reminds me of my friend's Scooby or EVO. I'm not sure what I think, but it's definately a different sound venting to atmosphere. If that's what you're used to in a turbo... and you believe that's what all turbos should sound like, go for it. It's a beautifully milled piece and a brilliantly simple design (using the existing wastegate solonoid and all). The R56S needs a dose of charcter and this might be a piece of the puzzle. Heck, there are people out there that have complained about the supercharges whine... so to each their own. Know what I mean? ![]() Founding member of R56 Anonymous: "Hello. My name is Mike. Offline | I was just trying to figure out what BOV was an abbreviation for when I stumbled upon this thread. At least now I know it's a 'blow-off valve'. I also then stumbled upon this video online:No idea whose video it is, but thought some of you guys might be interested as it's an in-car view. All the best, Andrew. * * * * * NeuroBeaker Proud owner of "Zeus" (a 'slightly modified' 2004 Mini ONE). |
