Offline | Bbr/morego Starchip BBR/MOREGO have come up with a tuning package for the R56 S, spoke to them today and they're quoting a 30bhp increase taking power to 205 bhp and torque up-to 216 lb ft all for £495! They've also got suspension mods available, the guy said to me they're the 1st to upgrade the performance on the R56 but I politely informed him about GT tuning's offerings .Also the car they've worked on has been with Performance Tuning magazine being road tested which will be out on the 25th of this month and is now with EVO mag for next months edition, he also said the car would be back with them from the middle of this week and if I wanted to come down would be able to test drive! Offline | Interesting, very interesting. I look forward to the review in Performance Tuning Mag. Like previously said though, only really interested if it undetectable by BMW. My TLC and Warranty are worth far more than a 30bhp gain. Gimme 50 horses for £500 and that's a different story!! |

Offline | 10 bhp for £2.50 a macains oven chip on the bonnet, ![]() i have read on mini2 that BMW have been a bit conservative pessimistic on their bhp, ![]() or to put it another way 205bhp - 30 might equal 175bhp but this works as well 185 + 20 = 205bhp ![]() carefree |

| MINI2 Master | My thoughts exactly. Yeah it's likely to give 205hp but the starting point was probably 190hp. If it is MTH they have always 'claimed' huge increases from just a remap. I have a MTH remap and it is a good product, very driveable but did not give what they claim BHP wise. 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |

| MINI2 Master | Wouldn't trust the first outfit or believe eithers claims about that kind of increase from a map. Never heard of either company so again would be sceptical in claims and reliabillity, and also is it really 'their' chip or someone elses ( MTH etc ) 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |
