Hi all just got my filter today took about 5 minutes to fit.

Just wondered if anyone else has this problem (If it is one that is)

There seems to be a small gap in the filter housing in between the gap there is filter so don't think there will be any contamination issue's just wondered if anyone else has had this.

Mine looks very similar. Not had any problems with running or performance.

Hi. Had the filter in for a few days now and has deffinetely made a difference in performance on cold starts and in bottom end. It also seems to be alot better than standard and higher revs in higher gears as it seems to sound like the engine isn't working as hard as the foam breathes better than the paper . LOL

Have there been any comparisons of the ITG filter vs. the Alta one.

They're both foam so do they both produce the same results as judging by everyone's responses on here I'll be getting one

Oooo and how much is that? Can it be fitted to a standard R56 S or is it a replacement filter for the JCW only?

Is the ITG filter worth the extra ~£30 over the Pipercross or Alta filters?

I’m afraid the filter will only fit the JCW airbox. The filter is priced at £55(Inc vat). There is a good reason why we only stock/sell ITG filters.

You can't buy this seperately for the R56MCS. You get it as part of the Works stage 1 tuning kit.

OK maybe I'll pass on that one then...

Think its a toss between the Alta and the ITG. Considering a BOV adapter too...
