Thats a good figure running stock.

Would be interesting to see the result after mapping. We had a Cooper S R56 which made 176bhp stock, and 215bhp after the P-Torque mapping.

You will always get some variation between Dyno's though

Wink tuned dyno?

Here's an alternative view of S output: Powertrain Performance Graph for Mini Cooper S -07 (128 kW)

Almost exactly what the maker claims. Seems very doubtful that MINI would underestimate output as the commercial dyno operator implies. Unless it was running on some enhanced fuel?

Manufacturers often do this, not sure why really!

For example, the VAG group 130PD diesels are advertised as 130bhp models, but they never make less than 140bhp on an accurate Dyno, and often up to 148bhp

No doubt there are discrepancies, but the 130 hp engine in the Fabia gave 101% of the rated power at the drive shafts: Powertrain Performance Graph for Skoda Fabia RS -05 (96 kW) If this figure is "corrected" by adding 15% for transmission losses, then you get an estimate of flywheel hp in line with your figures. Which is not the same as saying the vehicle has 149hp to play with at the wheels.

revised thoughts!

Having looked at what I just posted, it is true I think that makers power/torque figures are "flywheel". So getting within a few % plus or minus when measured at the wheels is pretty good. if the method is accurate.
