if you look at the bottom It gives a price for an AC Schnitzer exhaust. prices from to prices work out at between £600 and £850 (on that page).

I dont think its an HKS product.

I think they are HKS exhausts. They are referring to the AC Schnitzer rear bumper (in the pictures they are using one), must be included?! One price is for the muffler only the second is a cat back. Besides AC Schnitzer use Remus exhausts I believe.

Using a **** poor translation on Babelfish,

It conforms to Japanese 'JASMA' standards, uses 'Advantex' glass fibre wool for the silencing, SUS304 stainless steel is used, 2 year/30K Km warranty.

Good sound (they would say that), "genuine highest output" is 235.4PS @ 6150 RPM, and "survey value" is 263.3PS @ 6130 RPM

It is also available with an intermediate pipe (cat removal?) which gives a "survey value" of 238.7PS @ 6050 RPM

But the remarks column at the end of the table, the translation makes little sense:

"Only main, genuine muffler cutting and AC SCHNITZER ria cart equipped car installation yes"

Which leads me to believe that this may not be an HKS designed exhaust, or may be a collaboration with AC Schnitzer?

mmmmm maybe but is in the exhaust section of the website which would lead me to think probably not, this did cross my mind at first.

Also the AC Schnitzer kit uses the original bumper if im not mistaken, it just adds a few bits of plasic here and there.

but then again this is the AC System looks like this

i'm a newbie when it comes to Mini, so the figures above, does it give the R56 a good gain?

and when it says Genuine muffler cuttng? does it mean, its not a straight bolt on muffler? damn it..

Hi Guys & Girls,

We have been dealing with HKS here in the UK and the systems that you are all talking about ARE HKS systems. They are available in two versions, back-box & full cat back exhaust.

The prices are as follows:
1. Cat back - £640.00
2. Back-box - £595.00

There is some additional info here: Discussion About HKS + Milltek

Best Regards,

Andrey
