I wondered what dark blue would look like, so had a stab at mocking up a shade of dark blue for the S (based on the laser blue press shots).

It's a complete guesstimate of how Lightning Blue might look.

Probably be easy to get a BRG mock up from the original image too. I haven't done that yet (been playing for a while you see!).

Maybe the new model needs dark colours to really work.

I think the darker colours will work best (although thats not being very 'MINI' is it?!)

I think the Mellow Yellow (having seen it in the flesh) is a real winner. Never been a huge fan of the MINI yellow (sorry), but the new one has more vibrancy about it.
