Nightfire in the sun will be a stunning colour. Also think Astro Black would look great, and Sparkling Sliver. If the colours are the same as the BMW colours, could Sparkling be BM Silver Gray and Nightfire be Ruby Red (an individual colour)?

Sparkling Silver (as you can see from the pics in the news section) is nothing like Silver Grey. Not sure on Nightfire and Ruby as Nightfire is an old Rover Mini colour, so it could be either, or neither.

I like the look of Nightfire Red - I shall be VERY annoyed if this isn't an option for the Cabrio!

No sign of a Cool Blue or Hot Orange - these I presume remain as exclusive Cabrio colours?

Wasn't there another white on Pauls list of colours earlier? maybe its a delayed release for some colours

there are a couple of missing colours from that sample. i'm thinking there'll be late additions or swpa outs if some of the new colours don't take off, like they did with velvet red & the pale green who's name i forget right now

strange - just went on to mini.co.uk to check what colours have been dropped & the configurator has been changed - yellow & electric blue are no longer an option on any car. the only options are now:
chilli red
pepp white
astro
brg
hyper
pure/dark silv

plus (& this may have been the case anyway), the 7 is now avail in
chilli red
pepper wht
astro
pure silv
the darker red for the 7 has gone - this note is ont the mini.com international site:
NB: The body colour shown here for MINI Seven (Solar Red) is no longer available.

It's more like a sort of champagne type colour.

Mmmmm. On the MINI.com site it looks dead smart. Part way between PS and DS.
May have to play safe and go blue instead !

Just been on to my local dealer & they still dont know which colours are available for each model - i wanted to know what colours to eliminate when/if i'm speccing for a cooper....

Paul - saw an '07 One/Cooper on the road the other day with a colour that could only be described (by me anyway) as "Baby-Puke Yellow/Brown" - couldn't see a colour that matched on your swatches - any ideas what this is properly called?
