Thanks for your input and advise guys! Dealer said it would cost approx £600 to paint the roof. Didn't say what colour I would need to spec the roof from factory. Good question. Would have assumed white?

Got to see yours up close Olly in the new year when you get it!

worth asking,as when they do the flip respray they always spec a black car

that seems highly priced, worth shopping around, or trying to find out if they will do a cheaper price for cash or if you can find an approved body shop, as most paint shops are not always part of the dealership itself

i'd check what body shop your dealer uses & approach them directly for a price

Went to the dealers yesterday (mums buying a Park Lane) and had a look at their paint swatches and interior swatches.

Nightfire Red is to die for but as I'm having a S Lightning blue is very very nice too! Happy with the look of these new colours now, was a bit put off by that racing MINI in Lightning blue but the swatch looked great.

This is good news for me. I don't have access to swatches yet, so I am going on what I have seen, and the Lightning blue I have see is a bit light for me...so, fingers crossed that it is darker than in the photos. I miss Indi Blue

Having had an Indi and Hyper Blue MINI from the swatch I saw of Lightning Blue falls between the two. It's a touch darker than Hyper and looks very smart indeed.

I wonder is it like Le Mans Blue from BMW, or Interlagos on the M cars?

Is pretty close to Hyper I'd say. A touch darker but not much. Having seen a few Indi Blues I prefer Hyper as it's a bit classier and not as 'old fashoined' as the darker Indi. Just love Lightning Blue as it just so classy !

I'm really not keen on Lightning, but then I didn't think too much of Hyper either, I think they should do a light blue (Electric then, Laser Now) and a "proper" dark blue Indi then, nothing now. Black-Eye Purple was just too "purple" for me. They still offer too many shades of blue for my liking (Laser, Oxygen, Lightning, and (arguably) Astro Black, could do with a light, and a dark, then use other colours instead.

blue colors

Any pictures out there yet of Oxygen Blue? I'm curious to see what that color looks like. The Laser Blue reminds me of Tahiti Blue I had on a past MGB, which is one of my favorite colors. I'm hoping it looks close to that color in person as that is the color I would go with unless Oxygen Blue looks better .

I'm guessing the oxygen blue is the colour those test shells were then?

The kind of light petrol style blue, bit like this?

there was a slide that Marcus showed us which had Oxygen Blue next to Nightfire Red and it was in the catagory of Heritage I think. It looked to me like silk green. Did anyone else see this? Maybe someone took a pic of this slide?

It's a sort of greeny light blue thing. No good with colours so cant really describe it.

Joema,

My dealer here in Oregon said today he doesn't believe Oxygen blue will be released to the U.S. market. He didn't provide a reason, however.
