I know the 2007 model year Convertibles are still 1st Generation MINIs, but are they only going to be offered in 2nd Generation colors ... are Cool Blue and Hot Orange history?

I tried checking this out on the MINI Germany and France configurators but couldn't get past the "language barrier"

saw someone post about this, that apparently orders for Hyper Blue are been moved to one of the new colours, so I think in answer to your question Ron, the convertible is getting the new MINI colour pallette rather than continuing in the old ones.

As far as we know, Only Hyper Blue is changing to Lightening Blue. Everything else is staying the same.

Guilty as charged!

So far, Lightning Blue is replacing Hyper Blue from December build onwards. Other than that the palette remains unchanged.
