Lightbulb Lose the orange mess in R56 headlamps & rear lights

From the R56's I have seen so far, some have an orange indicator disc in the headlight which looks terrible, others have a clear disc, but orange bulb - which whilst not looking as bad, still doesn't give the headlamp a clean look as the orange is still visible.
We have direct replacement bulbs in silver to give your headlights a much cleaner look & they are e marked so road legal.

The Cooper S comes with clear lenses front & rear, & they are optional on the Cooper
We now also have silver rear bulbs NewMINIStuff.com

Cool Mike, that's the first thing you can add to my long list.

Sorry for sounding dense here Mikey, but do you need the factory fit white indicator lenses for these to work?

Yes, still not worked out if the clear indicators are optional or come on certain models

Thanks for that.

White lenses are standard on the Cooper S, but optional on the Cooper.

Hopefully that's because the actual car doesn't exist yet, so the picture could have been created from a Cooper?

Different countries have different spec, at the international launches/events they tend to have orange indicators on the S, they even had this at the Plant Oxford "VIP Preview" at the weekend.

Actually because of the orange bulbs in the clear housing, from front on the indicators look orange even if they have a clear indicator lens. I noticed this with my dealer from the Paris motorshow pics. Only from the side do the lenses appear clear. These new bulbs will cure this completely. My first fix even on my speccing list already!

Some of the bulbs at Paris were clear, some Orange (all with Orange bulbs though), you can see that from our report/images from the show.

Good stuff, Mikey, that's something I really don't like about the R56. Look forward to pics when someone gets this done

I've specced the clear lense on my Cooper.

So Mike do you know is it easy to change the indicator bulb is their plenty of room.

You know what some of the cars are like nowadays a complete bugger to get the bulbs changed.

Optional indicator lens colour?

That has to be the most ridiculous option ever. No doubt it is not free?

Its the same as on the current car. Not a new thing at all. My friend specced white indicators on her 55 reg One and it was £50 then. Make a big difference to the look.

White lenses in headlights are a zero cost option
