Hi people. Thinking of a new mini cooper. The colours aren't completely up my street but was wondering if you thought the sparkling silver will be dark enough to look OK with the white roof/mirrors/stripes.

I don't think so, it's qute a pale/light colour. Sort of champagne/metallic biege I think.

From What I have seen; I personally don't think it will look right.

Pure silver and White never did it for me either.

It'd look better with black or body colour IMO. Wouldn't be a common combo though.

Sparkling Silver with body-colour roof & mirrors doesn't look great either.

Black Roof & Mirrors is the way to go with this one!

I'm with you on that one.

Just convinced my boss' mother to change from Pure Silver to Sparkling Silver.

With a black roof of course!

Less common colours are good.

You don't look like everyone else (1 in 3 new cars sold in the UK are the equivalent of Pure Silver) and, come resale time, some dealers get quite excited about having an unusual colour to sell.

having seen sparkling silver, I have to say it looks different to how I thought it would be, its a lighter shade on DS and rather nice too

Think with the red lounge leather it looks even nicer too
