Does anyone know if it will be possible to put the R56 Cooper S bonnet stripes on the Cooper? If you look at pictures i have added you will notice that the S stripes are much wider appart and closer to the headlamps, and seem to have better shape probs due to the curve of the bonnet at that wider angle.

The picture i photoshopped of an S with Aero Kit to a Cooper with Aerokit, still has the wider S stripes and looks sooooooo much better so just interested if these might be interchangable???

Seeing as the bonnets for the two models are so different, I would say that, almost categorically, the stripes will not fit, as they are cut to fit the bonnet perfectly.

Why not get some custom-made to how you want them, rather than using 'genuine' MINI stripes? (They would probably be cheaper too! )

yea i was wondering if the bonnet would have much of a baring, il ask at the dealership on saturday, and im liking the custom made idea, save money!!

I've always preferred the look of stripes being farther apart on the bonnet, but given placement of driving light on R50/53 the closer position was all one could realistically get away with. Now that R56 driving lights are moving farther out towards the headlights, I think that the stripe position will be much better and I'd love to see/recommend a move away from the close placement.
