After reading the accessories part of the price list booklet given to me on Friday night at the launch I found something interesting.

I saw that the additional driving lights require buying the brackets complete with the front grille. Does this mean the whole grille is needing to be changed over? They sell different types for the Cooper and the S. Also they sell ones for the aero grille in black chrome, NICE. Does this mean we could fit the Cooper slatted grille to the Cooper S and fill in that horrible black gap grille?

What do you guys think on this? I'm hoping I might have found a way around having that horrible front grille!

As far as I'm aware the grilles are now different shapes, so a straig swap wont be possible.

Awwww thats a real shame!!!! But at least you've helped my inquisitive mind from adding up the mods already!

i suppose I don't have good taste but what's wrong with the standard S grill? It seems no better or worse than the current (current? old perhaps ) aero grill

Nothings wrong with it in particular and if I can't change it I'll accept it how it is but I prefered the slatted grille to the aero kit grille. I was just thinking if I could change the grille I would.

What grille is this in this picture below? The cooper at my dealer had chrome slats with the driving lights these seem to be black slats.
