am away to be ordering new mc in astro black dont want any tacky chrome on the grill , they had a white one in showroom with plain black grill , how can i spec my grill to be like that ( it was cooper badged , not a one model)

Hi, Welcome to MINI2

Just had a quick look in the new Parts/ Prices booklet & it looks like you could order a replacement JCW Black grill complete with Spot Light Brackets for £37.95 {not fitted}
Part No. 63 13 0 422 708

Best to check this out with the dealer though
{The One you saw at the dealers was probably an Aero Kit model which costs around £1000 extra}

The Cooper comes with Chrome Grill as Standard, The S is Black as Standard

It probably had the Aero kit fitted, which'll cost you a fair bit extra.
