Aero kit

Hi

Just wondering if anyone with a R56 fitted with a JCW aero kit can help me. Does the areo kit come with the JCW sill plates. i have just ordered a LB/B Cooper s with a JCW aero kit and want to know if i need to get some sill plates.

One other thing has anyone had the JCW spoiler fitted. how much did it cost and are you inpressed with it.

Thanks

James

The sill plates do, in fact, come as standard with the aero kit.

I fitted the kit last week and it is very comprehensive , yes the JCW sill strips are included , quality and fit are brilliant and its in fact easier than previous generation kit to get right .

I am going to get prices for JCW rear spoiler, carbon bonnet duct and carbon boot handle tomorrow from my dealer and I will report back. I think I am going to go for Chilli Red, Black bonnet stripes, black roof, and carbon air duct on bonnet. Undecided about carbon boot handle and rear spoiler.

sounds good i really like the chilli red black roof look and it was a close choise between that and and the lightning blue i chose should look ace with the carbon air scoop and spoiler.

Hi,
I've had my r56 cooper for 5 weeks today, ordered it with the JCW spoiler and aero kit but the JCW Spoiler's were not ready when my car was so I took delivery without it been fitted.
And...... 5 weeks later its still not ready (the spoiler) my dealer (Nick Whale in Warwick) have told me MINI UK expect them in from Germany on the 9th Feb which happens to be tomorow so with a bit of luck I should be able to get it fitted the latter part of next week.
Here my r56 cooper with the aero kit but without its JCW spoiler:

http://www.mini2.com/forum/attachmen...5&d=1170879891

As for the spoiler I paid £150 (paid it with the price of the car even though its not fitted yet) and fitting cost on top of that (can't remember what that was but its stated as 30mins fitting time on here somewhere)

And yeah you get the sill plates, thats how they can justify it been JCW LOL

enjoy.

urmmmmmmmm well tbh my car was a present from my parents for getting Head of my House at Wrekin College, Telford so I don't know how much the kit itself cost. I only know the price of the spoiler because it was an add on to the order and I had get the individual price from them.
sorry couldnt give you a figure.
