MINI2

HI

I get my Mini in a couple of weeks. I asked whether I could have 4 spots fitted on it, but was told that the dealer didn't know how to fit 4 on the new Mini and hadn't had time to have a play as yet.

Anyone out there had 4 done? If so where and do you know how much it should cost?

Hey stu, I'm going with Janey to pick up her new cooper tomorrow and we have ordered 2 sets of lights 1 for her and one for mine.

I am fitting them myself so I will have look and see if you can or not.
All as I know is that we both have to have a new grill each so we will have to see what the difference is.

MINI were, at best, reluctant to fit 4 to the 1st Generation, and that didn't need a replacement front grille.

The fact that the R56 does makes it even less likely that it can be done without cutting the grille. And there certainly won't be anywhere obvious to mount the lamps.

I'm sure an aftermarket solution will, eventually, become available, but the chances of getting an official MINI one are low to none.

I only had two on current Mini - at the time my Mini Garage wouldn't fit 4, but changed their mind last year, but as I decided to change to new car, decided not to add the additional ones on.

I am pondering whether 2 will do until they sort out a solution.......
