Firstly, I appreciate this isn't going to be to everyone's taste!

It was my wife's choice, so you ain't going to offend me, and she doesn't visit this site!

We had a custom roof design applied to our new R56 'S' . It was done through the dealer before we collected it. They sub-contract to a guy called Doug (I can post his contact details if anyone is interested but will have to check with him first).

My initial thoughts on the car are on our blog, Mini Cooper S - First Report » thinkCAR

My wife makes tie-dye children's clothes, hence the image. We sourced and purchased the image via a stock photo agency, Stock Photography: Search Royalty Free Images & Photos | iStockphoto.com. You can secure the rights to use images for very reasonable rates (our image cost $10 for very high resolution). FYI the image is this one:

The whole thing cost £375 which is very expensive but we wanted it on the car from new so I was prepared to pay extra for the lack of hassle. Here is the image on the car:

Not sure it would work with other MINI colours but on yours it's really cool!
