Hi

Just so i know when i phone my dealer tomorrow. He says he's waiting on a back order of the Aero Kit..which might be end of April.

Is he waiting for the painted kit?

Could he just paint it Laser Blue and i'd have it sooner?

Yes he is waiting for the painted kit. No reason why a primered kit couldn't be ordered and then they spray it themselves.

Although this is a more expensive option, so don't expect your dealer to honour the price quoted for a pre-painted kit.

This can depend on the dealer though, as my dealer painted kit was done at the same price as the factory painted kit

All depends on how helpful they are.

I totally agree Olly, a lot of dealers will match the price, but they are not obligated to do so as the delay is not of their making.

I was just letting angharad know the score!

I can vouch for that info, when talking to my dealer (last week) he mention that he ordered the primed kit then sent it for painting rather than waiting for the pre-painted kit (not mention of additional cost). I also ask him to paint the trim above the exhaust pipes black like in the JCW pictures
