Yeah I think it would have cost a fair bit, there looked to be to many colour changes across the body, as you can see in the picture the front is really aqua fading right through to bronze at the rear and all from just one angle.

Did look better in the flesh but I only had my phone camera!

Theres an 06 plate S going around middlesbrough and it looks rather cool i like it! stands out ALOT! it was in the local dealers when i first saw it and the paint job cost over £3000!

Not the same car.... BUT.... Mini2 member Fozzy2k has the same paint job but with JCW alloys.

I like flip paint but why does everyone seem to have the blue to green to purple colour that was the first flip paint that came out?

There are so many nicer colours such as the gold to orange that was available on TVR's. I've seen it available at MINI dealers.

It was acceptable in the 80's

the R56 is not the prettiest at the best of times
that paint job on any car imo would look s**t
the cost of that is nearly as criminal as the looks!
