The latest accessory brochure shows a two bike rack fitted to the back of an MCS, any one know how it fits on?

I wonder if it is available. I am still waiting for my roof bars for my R56 which I ordered in November. Seems to be a problem with them.

Go to MINI's USA site and configurate a car on there, you can add all the roof & bike racks and it'll show you. It's in the last step (step 5). It won't show you on the car you're speccing but there's still an image worth looking at. Hopefully it's not the same as in the brochure you have.

In any case the boot is accessible, so that must tell you something?

I saw details on how it fixes on somewhere but I cant remember where! I know theres no need for holes to be drilled, there are 4 fixings on the lip, the rack clamps round the lip at these points.

any idea how much the R56 roof rack is?

I think the bars will be about £120. I asked my dealer last week when they will be available. He still does not know.

£120 will be a very good price if that is indeed correct.

Although this is MINI, I bet they'll charge at least double that

Just had a call from my dealer. The roof bars are now available at a cost of £120. I expect to pick them up later this week.

Anyone know how we can buy the bike rack that fits onto the tailgate as mentioned earlier in this thread. I took a look at the US webisite mentioned above and it just what I am looking for. I emailed the MINI retailer in USA and MINI Customer services about it but so far have not heard back from either. Even if I could just find out the make it would help. It must be on sale in Europe as the USA site says that the version shown is the European version.....Can anyone shed any light on this...Thanks
