Offline | so, it s not possible as you say. i ll have to wait. that s very annoting because, i paid for the autofolding mirors extra and i always forget to close the mirors when closing the car and i have to go back all the time to close them.... and in Paris, there s lot of narrow streets, and i dont want a bad surprise when coming back to my mini. no pb, thanks anyway ![]() |

Offline | you gonna have to hang in there until they become available! i wouldnt rule it out yet though.....the box from the old one might be compatible with the new 1s ......have to check and confirm with mikey though! let us know and good luck! |

Offline | I phoned Mikey up to see if he would be able to do this with my R56 (as he did with my R53) and he said that they attempted it on a R56 but could not get it wot work. The auto closing is not a programmable feature by your dealer. I find the new location in the door assist you in remembering to close them. It becomes second nature after awhile. Offline | I may well have another go at this on the R56 as long as its a car without keyless entry on a side note - the bmw 1 series they fold from the remote the new 3 series coupe they dont????? |
