Just gone through the spec of my new r56 but got one slightly big problem.......which colour?
Seen as ive put on the JCW bodykit was wondering if it would look better in silver rather than black due to the mesh in black etc.

Any chance anyones got pictures of both so I could compare them?

At moment the order has gone in for an all black cooper-although dealer said could change it to silver with black roof at later date if wanted

had a 2004 black pimped cooper s - loved it but scratches show like a b!tch

now have a 2005 cooper s works in dark silver and love it - when the sun shines on the metallic it looks awesome

either color you cant go wrong

black is amazing but u have to make it look nice harder than you do with dark silver (if that makes sense lol)

When I said silver I was meaning pure silver-not the darker one. I asked the dealer for dark silver but he said it was only available for the cooper s unfortunatly. Would have been an easier choice if it was available!!

I have an astro black cooper thats having the JCW kit fitted in the next couple of weeks. Personally I would go for black, but pure silver & black roof with the kit would look lovely.

Decisions decisions eh? What interior have you opted for?

I fitted an aero kit to my Astro black MCS yesterday, I like the black grill against the black paint. I'll post some pics for u later

The colour of the interior will depend on what you all advise me on the exterior.

At the moment if the exterior is black the interior will be black with red interior-but also thinking on the black and cream interior-looked quite nice in the showroom (not sure what it would look like after a few months?)

TBH the cream does tend to get a bit dirty if you jeans or dark trousers alot (like me) but it doesn't get half as bad now though because I give the seat a quick once over with a leather wipe a couple of times a week, and IMO the cream interior with the black piano dash is just yum.

Sorry about picture quality light/weather crap,in the flesh the car looks stunning and quite imposing.I'm a bit dissappointed the chrome air intake wasn't fitted as they are out of stock at the moment,other than that I'm a very very happy boy

{will post better pics over the weekend}
