Well seeing as a certain dealer was offering 26% off all JCW stuff this month, I decided to order all the Carbon Fibre bits I wanted and also the grill trims from the Aero Kit, even though my car isn't here till 1st Sept.

The grill trims are going to have to go back as they are scratched lightly in several places. These trims are shiney black plastic and everyone i've seen on a car is scratched heavily. This is cheap quality from an expensive brand.

These things will look bad already never mind a couple of months on the car.

Off to phone dealer to enquire about price to spray them black and lacquer them like the roof.

Any body else done this ?, anybody advise me of paint code for black roof colour ?.

PS. The Carbon fibre bits ARE a quality item and a work of art

I take it all the c/f goodies are the exterior parts? Ive had all the interior parts fitted but can't make my mind up whether to take off the chrome exterior parts and go for c/f...

CF Mirror covers and Boot handle. Got 26% off retail price this month only.

Can you confirm whether or not the interior CF dash trim ( passenger side ) has tthe JCW logo or not ?.

Had my aero kit fitted yesterday and don't have any problems with scratches around the grille - but does anyone know if these can be replaced with the chrome trims that are part of the standard grille?

My local dealer has opted to keep the standard chrome trims fitted with the JCW aero kit on their demonstrator, so the answer to you question is yes. I personally much prefer the black trim and I am about to fit them to my standard front end.

we kept the chrome on for while and then switched to the black trim

They are the same fit
