You need to drill holes in the boot lid to fit a spoiler to it. Unless you buy a JCW spoiler or a 3rd party Spoiler that only requires bonding.

i've ordered an R56 dooper but only got pepper pack so no spoiler. bought a Cooper S spoiler off ebay (£100, i thought it was a bargain but i see now people here have got them way cheaper!! ah well)

Does the R56 have the bolt hole in the middle that will need to be plugged? is the standard non-spoiler roof panel end piece easy to remove? Or have i completely shot myself in the foot by not getting a cooper spoiler specced in the first place? thanks guys

Sorry if i'm digressing slightly but where do people go to get their bits painted? I'm looking to buy some side skirts for my R56 Dooper but as yet it's unpainted.

I've been quoted £120 for painting (Astro Black) and £25 to fit.

Does this sound reasonable?

Also, is it difficult to fit the skirts (JCW by the way) yourself? any tutorials/pdfs out there??
