Unhappy Mini Damage - Accident now paint work!!!

I'm one unhappy mini owner at the moment.

Just over two months ago my MINI was injured in a car park - the other party disputed fault and my insurer Swiftcover were rubbish (they are really really bad don't insure with them, I'm counting down the days to the end of my policy).

Now those two+ months have past and yesterday I was happy to collect my repaired MINI having not had the use of it for all of that time from my pref bodyshop (BMW).

Throughout my car has stayed with them and today I noticed some paint damage that seems to be caused by bird mess? There are a few of these patches on the bonnet and the front bumper! Its a faded area of paint hopefully you can see it in the attached image OK.

I've cleaned, cleaned - waxed and waxed and it doesn't improve . I was wondering if any one has some advice on the matter ?

esxollie: i'm not quite yet a cleaning expert, but i'd be tempted to put a post in the HELP ! section on detailingworld.co.uk - they'll be able to sort it

Well, if all fails I would suggest you to bring it back to the dealer, where you had the repair done and ask them to rectify it! It was there where the stain took place because of their neglegence, so they should fix it for you!

Smile Fixed

Took myself and the MINI over to the bodyshop after work were they buffed the marks out after about 25 mins of scarry noises and a free cuppa tea!
