Hello guys, I'm looking to get a new MCS with the aero kit fitted but i'm confused Is there two different aero kits? A JCW kit and a factory kit???

Yes. Avoid the factory kit at all costs. In my opinion it is horrific.

The JCW kit (dealer fit) is much much better.

James.

depends on the dealer, some will charge a resonable rate, like Woodmans in Blackpool, but then others will rip you off big time, so shop around

Its only a forum you know!

NOOOOOO to the factory aero kit, save yourself £900 and go without as its much better than with!
The JCW aero kit now thats another story looks brilliant but quite expensive fitted etc.

Good luck but please don't get that factory fitted pile of p00!

As I remember I paid about £200 fitted for the JCW over and above the factory kit. Well worth the price

Barons mini at the A3 are asking for nearly £2k with fitting for the JCW aero kit which sounds ridiculous to me, is this at all a realistic price? Apparently it needs to be painted and fitted for a grand :/

Yes AFAIK it is a grand (approx) for the kit, then how ever much the dealers labour is.

I might be wrong though.

Go to Woodman (see there R56 Aero kit offer in Group Buys).
I can highly recommend Chris, Dave and team in Blackpool, they fitted mine.
But go for the JCW kit, if you have the factory kit, IMO, you'll regret it.
(No offence meant to anyone who has it)
