Offline | JCW Stuff (Alloys & Spoiler) I've just put in my order this week for a brand new MINI CS (in black) with the JCW Aerodynamic Kit. However, I was thinking of getting some other JCW stuff to get put on afterwards. The main the things I'd want is the spoiler and the alloys (10 spoke). I am aware there are 4 different type of JCW alloys. However, it's the 10 spoke light weight alloys I absolutely love, but got disheartened when the MINI garage told me they were £2,700!!!! (the normal ones are £1,200) Is that right? Not as bad with the carbon spoiler, but I still couldn't believe it was £1,700! If someone has a price list for the JCW stuff, that would be brilliant (and to also confirm the prices I've been given!). |

Offline | I did on the general forum, but I guess I'll get a better response in this section. I'm still also wondering whether to add DSC back on the car after I removed it over having the Visibility pack. Choices, choices, choices! |

Online | Posting the same thing in multiple forums is not the best thing to do - select the most suitable forum and ask the question once. If you have put something in the wrong forum then ask a mod to move it. DSC - take it you will not regret it as it is a major safety feature. DSC and LSD together works well. In Italy |

Offline | Sorry, I was only planning on asking the JCW question here seperately to the topic on my new car in general discussion .It was LSD that I removed. I'm not sure about the DSC. We don't get much snow or ice down here in the south-east . For the car's abilities, I'm quite confident not to have it as I'd prefer to spend my money on the getting other JCW stuff. |

| MINI2 Master | Hi Tunster, The LSD is worth every penny.......not that it's expensive. There is no way the 17" 10 spoke alloys are £2700. I got the 18" R105'S fitted from new for £700 + my chilli pack alloys. Surely the CF rear spoiler is not £1700 i'm sure i saw this was around £300-400.I think your dealer is having a laugh ![]() 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |

Offline | I will give the salesman a ring again later. I think those prices included fitting, but it shocked me how much the alloys were. I want to add LSD back onto my options list as well. Would be nice if someone here could give me some fixed prices. |

| MINI2 Master | The R105 Alloys & tyre package retails at £1500. All JCW stuff has a 25-30 % dealer profit margin. So i got 20% discount and then they gave me £500 for my crown spokes. Total outlay of £700 ![]() 06 HB/W MCS Chilli Last edited by Japper : Feb 1st, 2008 at 01:47 PM. Reason: spelling |
