| MINI2 Newbie | Cost of JCW Aero Kit from dealers Am speccing up my 3rd Cooper S, maybe ordering tommorrow too if I can make the decisions in time and just wondered how much people have been charged for the JCW Aero Kit inc. fitting as know this is all done at the dealer? My dealer is saying £1,600 all in - does anyone know if this is standard or am I being charged over the odds? Any idea standard cost of the kit before fitting? |

Offline | I'm paying £1300 from factory brand new (don't think it's being installed at factory though). £1600 is well too much and I'd ring around other local garages to try get the price. It's surprising some here are getting it lower than I'm paying. I guess this is a fit to a second-hand car? |

Offline | The JCW Aero Kit is a dealer fit option and gets fitted when the car arrives at the dealers. ![]() The Orange Blob As My Avatar Is The Mascot Of JetAlliance Racing Called 'Carli'. |

Offline | Certainly, not only did the salesman I went in and saw had the factory build confirmation, also the JCW Kit confirmation . I'm going to order the spoiler today as well.Last edited by Tunster : Feb 22nd, 2008 at 08:51 AM. |

Offline | Only bad thing is fitting it yourself voids any tpye of warranty you would have had on it. I heard that MINI in Enfiled were doing the full kit icluding JCW spoiler for £1200 but wheher it was true or not i dont know.Joe |

| Back in a first gen. | Like I said mine was cheaper as I got it through the Woodmans special offer for MINI2 members.....think it was £1010 inc. fitting. Also doesnt matter if it was a 'second hand' car or not, the price is still the same.....my R56 was about a month or two old when I had the kit fitted. |
