I have an astro black cooper r56 , if someone had a racing green body with black roof and has the chili spoiler fitted is this black the same as astro .

No ... a contrasting black roof (and spoiler) is non-metallic.

ken - mine came with colour coded mirror caps

and i had scuttles colour coded as well after

not very clear but you get idea. my mate runs chips away and he made the mix up and sprayed them .

From memory you can't order an AB car with plain black roof from the factory. You order a body colour roof and hence you get AB roof, spoiler and mirror caps etc.

Yeah they look really good actually. In my case i prefer my chrome ones though as it sets of my JCW Kit although this is a very poor picture. How much did (would you have to) pay to get that done? As a friend of mine wants his sprayed white to match his bonnet scoop door handles spoiler etc. He can get them sprayed by the Bodyworx near us but he normally charges alot as he is mainly a TV/FILM car costom sprayer.

His car at the moment looks amazing i will shortly post pics.

got it done for nothing as he wanted to see what it looked like, when he made up the paint , there was loads of different colours added to get the astro black effect , white may be cheaper.
have you seen any ab coloured cooper on this site with the honey combe side scuttles , thinking of getting them but want to see pix first
